LODGE HISTORY
Nine Freemasons formed Middleburg Lodge on June 23, 1888. Six newly made Master Masons joined their ranks within six months. On January 16, 1889 they received their charter and became Middleburg Lodge No. 107, F. & A.M. The first year, four of the original members demitted. Meetings were held in a cooper's shop (barrel maker) on Palmetto Avenue. Middleburg Lodge No. 107 has owned three Masonic Halls, all on the same street. The present hall was built by the craft and completed in late 1982.
TRESTLE BOARD
The 13th District Masonic Association
Meeting (formerly the Masters & Wardens)
is held on the fourth Wednesday of each month at Lodges in numerical rotation.
These meetings are open to all Master Masons, whether a member of the
Association or not. Dues are $5 per year or $25 for a
lifetime membership.
The meetings are preceded by a dinner for $4.00. There is usually an
interesting speaker at each meeting.
